File Storage
Most computers in the Technology Classroom podiums have no floppy drive. Users
are encouraged to store all files on their U-Drive space (250 MB of storage), their PASS
space (1 GB of storage), a USB flash drive,
or in Penn State's Course Management System, ANGEL. Zip disks and CDs can be used for
backup purposes. If you have files on a floppy and wish to transfer them to one of the
options above, please visit the ITS Help Desks in 2 Willard or 215 Computer Building. For
more information about U-Drive or the PASS space, visit the Disk Space page.
Specialized Software Installation
Faculty may request the installation of new, class-specific software onto
computers in the computing labs and/or podiums. Software installation requests must be
received no later than six weeks prior to the start of the semester. For more information, visit
the CLC Software Installation page.
